WHY DREAMS THOUGH?
IS IT OKAY TO DREAM?
IS DREAMING BIG IMPORTANT FOR MY PLANS TO SUCCEED?
ABI SHOULD I JUST WAKE UP FROM MY DREAMS…TOHHRRRRR!
Dreams
Skrrrrr skrrrrr, we’re in the last quarter of the year already! when did we shout happy new year fam?
I’m sure almost everyone reading this article had goals, resolutions and things we swore we would have accomplished by now. How far?
See it’s kinda funny cos everyone has great such great plans, no one wants to end up not fulfilling their dreams but how much have you accomplished in the past few months?
For me, very little I must say. I’m almost ashamed talking to my mentors about my growth honestly because, “e choke”.
The ultimate question is; “What would you do to accomplish your 10-year goals in the next 2 months, if you had a gun to your head?” - Tim
Ferriss.
I saw this question and it spurred me on to research on the best approach to accomplish much in very little time.
Flow with me…
The secret of well accomplished/self-made millionaires.
- First, (which is the concentration of this article today) *Dream big dreams*…
- Next, Practice back-from-the future thinking: This essentially allows you travel forward and backward on time. It’s simply all about envisioning a future and returning information to your present self on what to do to get there (Pele o, Barry Allen…iyk iyk iyk).
It’s the method used by many successful people though including people like , Bill Gates, Jeff Bezoz, Brian Tracy, even Mrs Alakija from Nigeria). Follow who know road.
- Write in a book or paper, a list of everything you would do/attempt if you were absolutely guaranteed financial success in.
Then decide on specific actions and theme them immediately.
For example, what would you have started up or stopped doing completely? Who would you be with? Who would you no longer be? Just do a general overhaul of your life.
- Create a sustainable timetable, and break it down from yearly, to monthly, weekly, and finally daily tasks that’ll inch you closer to your dream.
Sounds simple enough right? Allow yourself to fantasize about the kind of life you will like to have.
Allow yourself to dream. Think about the amount of money you’d like to be sitting in your bank account. It's time to write or update your bucket list.
Think about what you’d like to be doing, what kind of lifestyle would you like to have (whether it be living as lavish as The Otedolas’s or simply having a killer wardrobe, traveling the world, or even opening a shop downtown selling all your favorite things, go ahead and dream, think, dream away).
The truth about our dreams is that they simply inspire us. They create a very clear mental picture of where we are going and this is so crucial if you want to eventually arrive at your destination.
The more you dream it, the more positive and motivated you will be to make your dream a reality. Before you know it, your creativity will bring up idea after idea to make your dream a reality.
Not many people know that the very act of allowing yourself to dream big dreams raises your self-esteem and causes you to like and respect yourself more.
Dreaming big dreams is the starting point of success whether it be financial or otherwise.
Let no one despise your dreams, guard them and execute them!
