Diligence is the act of carefully and persistently carrying out tasks to achieve something. It is doing a little each time to reach a goal, rather than waiting until the last minute to get something done.

You must be diligent in all you do because diligence leads to excellence. The bible says in Proverbs 12:24  that ‘the hand of the diligent will rule. You only get to rule when you put deliberate efforts into all you do. 

When you are tired because you are not seeing results, you have to get up and continue. There is a popular saying "Rome wasn’t built in a day". This means it takes consistency and continual work to achieve excellence. You have to continually build to achieve excellent results.

Say to yourself every day:

I give 100% to everything I do

I concentrate on my work

I am not lazy

I strive for excellence

I pay full attention to what I am doing 

I am diligent!
